    Nicaragua

    Going for thanksgiving break with some friends. going to stay at a surf resort. Anyone recommend anywhere? best places to surf? safety of the country?

    Once you get to the beach all is well. Just got back a month or so ago. Walk and explore, plenty of waves close by. Take a boat and get plenty more...

    Check out NSR (nicaraguasurfreport.com). Those guys have a lot of options and can hook you up properly right off the plane. Its also a great site for checking the surf down there every day. enjoy!

    yea nic is awesome. san juan del sur is a nice town. your kind of in the middle of every break south and north, tho colorado + popoyo is about an hour. boats are expensive, taxis are cheap. i wish i had more money to get to more spots, but def check nic surf report
