Question passing time during a flat spell

Okay, lets here your thoughts on how to pass the time during the summer doldrums?
There are always some brutal flat spells in July and August, so how do you cope?

For me personally, I see a therapist, and also try to remind myself that September and October are just around the corner.

I try paddling to keep the arms ready, but it's boring...
snorkeling, fishing, mowing and weedeating, zzzzzzzzzz
It's gonna be a long, flat summer.
Therapy seems like a good idea, is it expensive?

Don't got much time off work, but I've been doing tons of kitesurfing and a little bit of snorkeling. If I had the time would definitely try to rent a boat once a week to do some wakeboarding, fishing right before sundown, and some bikeriding for exercise

i stink eye surf schools and drink

  8. I surf behind the boat! Wakeboarding / wake skating / skurfing is a blast.

adult rec softball is also a surprisingly good time, join a team it's like being a kid again.

I get to go out on a racing sail boat (J-boat) some afternoons with the boss.

Beers, cookouts, reading the "bongs" thread... Whatever it takes.

When the surf is flat, I take the sailboat out. Hanging out on the beach is never a bad idea. Every now and then, a little longboard bump will come in. Can't wait for fall - hurricane season.
