I had my longboard sit outside for 10minutes, went outside with a wax scapper and a roll of papertowels.
Its sooo hot and sunny out that my wax scrapper was useless and I just used the papertowels to wipe the wax off... took about 3 minutes. lol.
I was surprised by the amound of static electricity that my board was giving off, all the hairs on my arms were getting pulled toward my board...
Be careful doing this! I did this with one of my favorite longboards and now I have a large bubble. DAMN DELAM!!!!! (I can't believe I've used this word twice today on the forum).
I'm not sure what I want to do with the board but I think I'm gonna try to channel Bob Simmons through a series of lucid dreams and make a mini out of it.
Or let it collect dust for a couple years instead.

You don't want a large bubble like ClemsonSurf. Also, you can't always depend on the sun, in the winter, to help with wax. Try using a hair dryer next time - you can control the amount of heat and you can target heavier areas as well. This method is a lot easier on your board and is fool proof. Additionally, I have seen "liquid wax remover" at a few of our local shops. I haven't tried this yet, but I have heard great things about it. Might be worth looking into. Better to be safe than sorry.
The liquid wax remover is just Acetone. It will not make the wax melt. Its ment to be used after 99% of the wax has been removed, just to clean the surface and remove the left over wax. It will not remove the bulk of the wax on its own.
Good to know - you just saved me some cash money. I am a big fan of using the "Pickle" after I strip my wax. It sounds like the "Pickle" is a cleaner alternative to the liquid wax remover. Thanks again for the info.
You can get citrus-based liquid wax remover, but it is for the final touch like idsmashh said.
I prefer the Pickle.

Hot water works the best... just pour it on...then scrap... then when done clean up with goo gone... the finial touch
Xxx wax remover works well but like others mentioned it isnt cost efficient or all that effective unless you use it when most wax is off. I put my board out in the sun for like 5 minutes if it hot then scrap it in the yard after...
