The pad is wrong for that board. You need to get a 3-piece pad you can spread out to fully cover the tail area or at least more coverage than you have with that one. Plus, the pad is definitely waaaaaaaay too far up and if you surf that far up on the board, it looks like you need to put more wax towards the nose to cover any change in stance you have. Of course this will have to do with how tall you are and how wide your stance is as a result, not saying you need to get all Adriano crab-style or anything--but wider stance=bent knees=lower center of gravity=more stability=more control.
