My gift to all of you....

For those beating themselves up over their bad habit....this is a reminder of how bad you (I) use to be.....

Disclaimer....I'm the kookie looking one, it's a intentional party wave, I'm not dropping in on that guy who laughs his ass off at me.

Just in case anyone wants to hear to.....in my last session I didn't wipe-out, not once And yes I caught and rode many waves. This girl has come a long way! Yippie! Yeah me!

Stepping on the tail of the board and flipping it up in your arms and spinning 180 degrees back towards the line up looks cool when I see surfers do it, but sometimes you have to fish out and bail as line the wave closes out. and like yersterday in Surfside we had head high surf, and I fished out and got about 15ft off the water. It probably looked cool and it was a wave statement after a clean and flowing ride. bad surfing habits are ones that interfere with other surfers catching waves, as long as I am curtious in the water towards other surfers, then when my bad habits are pointed out to me, I can correct them and vice versa.

I just get way to excited about barrels and then sometimes I try to fit into places that I am quite obviously not supposed to be.

I tend to tweak my backflips out a bit too much. Especially if im throwing a 720 in.

Not stretching before heading out. Or backing off a wave I could have made

Zeroing in on the lonely person out in the line up and paddling and sitting right next to him, staring at him w/o saying anything, just totally creeping him out.

Yeah, I really need to stop doing that before I get arrested or something.

Not sure I see a problem with this one. Sounds like proper surf etiquette to me. Definitely gonna add to my routine. One question, when they paddle away, do you follow?

I look back at the wave behind me and lose my stroke.

Sometimes I don't take a wave because I am hoping / think I know the next one will be better. When I do take the first one, I regret it, when I don't take the first one I regret it most of the time hah. Some days I go out just for sets, other days Ill catch ANYTHING!
