    I have used the Rip Curl Titanium Search watch now for 4 years and its great. If you cant stretch to one of these then go for the trestles, It has the same functions as the more expensive Titanium version apart from the compass.

    I got a real nice one at Cabelas. Super good warranty as well. $40.00 bucks.

    IF you need a waterproof there are many options like SONATA and many other companies.
