These "Tropical Tidbits" video forecasts are great. Thanks for posting on here. The guy talking obviously knows his stuff and he was right on about the storm gaining moisture and cloud formation after it crossed the 50W line into warmer water... it was a good call.
Well things are definitely looking interesting this morning with 2 potential storm tracks heading our way. Funny we might get swell from the second storm first as it comes up and makes it's turn around Bermuda sometime next week..
Lot of land mass and mountains this storm has to deal with coming across DR, Haiti, and Cuba. Kind of hard to imagine it staying cat 1 over all that mess.

100% chance of forecast innacurracy, but it doesnt stop us from geeking on all the reports. Been a long summer. We'll all get waves come sep/oct. Keep the faith.

Irene passed mostly north of the big islands like Cuba and DR.

The islands rip the storm apart more if it passes south of the islands putting the NE quadrant over the mountains. If it stays on the current track the NE qaudrant will be in the water leaving it to maintain the cat 1 status.
