I have some friends in Nosara I reached out to and they said everone is ok in that area so far. No major damage that they were aware of as of mid afternoon. Scary stuff.

5.9 hit last summer when I was in Tamarindo. Had just went to bed around dawn when I awoke to a booming rumble. I felt the ground undulate like a wave. Pretty crazy experience especially after everyone freaked out.

Scary. I was in old harbor in '91 when the 7.6 hit. Craziest experience of my life by far. Traveled by boat to Bocas (without a passport) 2 days later and ****e was in serious disarray. Hope everyone is good down that side...
