Conditions in Ocean City, MD?

So I'm traveling down to OCMD from Mass to visit a friend. The trip wasn't supposed to be a surf trip but it sure is looking that way now. The friend does a little surfing and her dad and brother have a full quiver of boards between them. Needless to say, I'm stoked! I surfed some peaky chest high waves in MA yesterday but I can't wait to catch the full force of these hurricanes/TS's.

That being said, can anyone tell me how the conditions have been? I might not be able to get out there until Saturday, in which case, it looks like there's gonna be a lot of wind out of the SSW. Any tips on a sheltered place to go? I'm sure I'll get surf spot advice from my friend in OC but a couple extra opinions wouldn't hurt! I'm not asking for anyone to give away secret spots but if you would that would be great .

No offense, I don't think anyone is gonna tell you anything special. Just pick a spot and surf.

I was out Wednesday evening around 18:00 and then again this AM. Wednesday evening was super sick. It was the biggest I'd seen all summer. 3-4 footers with some 5,6 and maybe even 7 footers coming in. This morning was really clean with consistent 2-3 footers. An occasional 3-4 foot beauty would roll through.

If your friend, friend's dad, and friend's brother are OC locals, they'll know where to go to get the most from this swell
