Question:
I have a Firewire quadraflex developing a delam/soft spot about 4-5 inches around where I grab the board to duckdive on the left side of the deck of the board. My plan is to drill 3 holes or so and inject epoxy resin with a needle of some sort. Then I will use pressure to adhere the glass back on. After that, I will do a topcoat and sand down.
My main concerns are:
Will it just happen again around the same area in the near future?
Will it throw off the weight of the board (on the left side) for when I go right?
If anyone has anything to add or take away, I would greatly appreciate it. I do not want to drill or cut the board but I think it is necessary at this point.
