Broken Longboard

Make it into something new, or use the shape as a template and go to Greenlight to make a whole new longboard.

I broke my board 50/50 - so I'm saving my bucks for the Greenlight plan...

Did you happen to break it last Sunday and where do you surf?

I broke it on Wednesday Sept 5th down around Bradley Beach. That was maybe the second day of the swell.

Yeah, $200 was a little more than a I wanted to pay to fix it up. The board was in pretty bad shape when I bought it. One of the rails needed a lot work and there was a bunch of dings. I probably threw good money after bad. I let the idea of "saving an old board" blind me to the fact that I was spending too much to fix it.

When I was talking to the wife last night she reminded me that I have "better" ways to spend my free time(working on the house, mowing the lawn, or spending time with the baby) than playing a broken board. So we'll see where this project goes.

Try making another board out of the longer half.

With the shorter end, maybe cut out a "shark bite" in it and hang it up somewhere haha

new board. not worth it. reshape the old half for next summer-beater board.

Make a template and reshape it. It will last longer then a repair and ride way better.
