I just watched this video on tides and surfing (you might have to find the tides podcast on the scroll bar)
He says that his presentation applies to 80% of beaches through the world and yet isn't it that here on the east coast it's common for spots to become unsurfable at high tide? When it turns into straight up shorebreak?
