    I'm also hoping this thing either weakens or moves farther offshore.


    Theres no way in hell my break (or most) will be able to handle 10ft+ @13+ seconds. Also, the fact that its an ESE Swell makes it even more prone to closeouts because it already starts Parallel to most beaches. With the state of almost all the sandbars, a swell of 7ft @9 seconds SE would produce MUCH bigger and better waves than a swell of 10ft @13 seconds ESE.

    I'll give up my secret spot. I want somebody there in case I drown in the monster surf. The broke down pier in Frisco looked good last weekend, just small. it was clean when everything else was blown out from the ne wind

    I mean i really wish the sandbars were in the state they were 5 years ago... storms like this would be epic if not the best i've ever seen...

    good luck at frisco peir with 30 plus winds and thumbing swell. Don't be that guy people have to read about.

    I *think* I know a couple spots I will be checking, but it's only going to be to watch if the wind forecast holds how it is now. I don't think even the South facing beaches will be working that great judging by swell direction.
