    Traction Pads

I can't seem to find any user reviews on traction pads.
Are they all virtually the same?

One of my buddies claims Creatures of Leisure makes the best.

I swung by a shop, and the guy told me it's just all personal preference with the colors because they're all the same in function.

    Would you agree/disagree?

There are dif arch pads or tail kicks but other than that the materials are pretty much all the same.

Disagree... to an extent. Arch shape matters to me.

Oh, and how about the leash?
Again, there are so many brands... Any one in particular that's been a better experience for you?

Also have issues with the Creature pads coming off. I like the DK or the pro light. For leashes I prefer the fcs. Have a few now that are atleast 4-5 years old.

    DaKine all the way.

I like a 5-piece with a high arch on my step-up, low-arch 1 or 2 piece on my hpsb and my daly driver, no pad on my longboard or single fin.

Creatures DNA leash is worth dropping the dime. Bubblegum Wax Co. has great selection & excellent deals/shipping rates. All leashes are destined to snap at some point in time. Always have a spare on hand.

I totally agree- Dakine all the way! After my first dakine pad, i never looked or switched back. one thing that really counts is the way it feels on your foot- and the arch in the dakine pads is perfect! Plus the kick seems just right. its soft yet durable and sticky. It really feels good under your feet. the andy irons pad is my fav- but i just got the clutch pad on one of my boards and i like that one too... you have to consider 1- the feel of it on your feet and 2- the shape of the tail of your board. color is like last on my list... and one other thing- make sure you get the right one and place it at the correct spot- cause its not coming off once you put it on...
