the problem i have with 'too happy' surfers is when they get carried away with their stoke and invite 5 friends to paddle out with them or hoot their friends into waves they don't have priority on or, my personal fave, tell you the wave is a 'party wave' after they drop in on you.. in a limited resources sport, often your fun can come at the expense of someone else so be considerate and allow yourself to be happy when someone you don't know gets a good one..

I am so glad my spot isn't crowded. I love party waves with friends, and can always be sure my group is the only one in the area. It probably also has a lot to do with the fact that no one I surf with takes themselves too seriously.

Don't be a ****. You are making **** up and putting words in my mouth. I am simply stating that I enjoy surfing with friends and we share waves. There is nothing wrong with the whole party wave thing if you are only among friends. Also, our area is key because we don't have to bother anyone else (and no one bothers us).
I am also glad that not a single person I have ever met out surfing the Carolina coast has ever used the word "brah."
