    going to north shore tomorrow

    looks like there will be good swell, and stoked to see these reports on the site, but i was wondering why there is an inconsistency with wind direction and speed from the detailed surf forecast to the wind box in the surf summary? one says ssw wind 5kt, the other says E to ESE? i checked weather.com for the hourly forecast and it looks like 10-11mph weds but ENE

    thinking vland might be the spot, but a friend said the sandbar at ehukai beachpark is working and then the west side looks good too.. got any recommendations? thanks micah

    swell is pretty big today mostly washing thru. some bodyboarders at pipe but nothing too good. vland is a washing machine freddys washing thru too. whats the call for tomorrow am, west side?

    the problem with the wind conditions has been fixed. There was also a timing with the swells on the timeline - this has also been fixed.

    Keep us updated with some reports!

    pipe is a clean 6-8+ packed lineup
    sunset is peeeeling rights 6-8
    going to check haleiwa but probably surf vland let u know after the sesh a little windy but a good day for sure

    great - thanks for the report. looks like the swellinfo forecast is a good call.
    We have yet to really expose the hawaii forecasts, because were still kind of testing things out here, so the more feedback you can give with live observations the better.

    just finished my 2nd session today. surfed vland twice. pretty strong current bc the wind was on it pretty hard and the swell just seemed really stormy. definitely should have been the blue little people not the green ones. right after low tide at like 230 it started to clean up nicely but 20 mins later big sets started washing thru again. checked every spot from vland to haleiwa and was just not as clean as it first looked this morning. pipe was pretty sloppy and pupukea just dumping. cpl ppl out at lanis but it sucked. cpl at waimea but not good either. the sandbar at ehukai was not working at all and sunsets current was moving lots of water some good wwaves out there but gotta be on a big board

    trades are blowing hard and its just kind of a stormy swell with lots of north in it. not sure if that helps u much will update again tomorrow.

    swell dropped a lot last night 2-3 foot today. wind is on it hard gonna wait for low tide at 3 and probably surf vland. swellinfo is accurate for the am!
