I bought quicksilver split toe liquid neoprene dipped 2mm booties and used them first time today. They r men's so I got XS. They were great, kept my feet warm, very little water got in. I wore them under my wetsuit legs. After two hours maybe a tablespoon of wAter was in. Pricey, $59 but worth it if they last...oh,and I have skinny ankles.
they are supposed to get water in them, your body/feet heat warms the water, thus keeping your feet warm... thats why its called a wetsuit, not a dry suit
Exactly...bone dry WETsuit boots and gloves are a myth. Properly fit, they get a film of water inside but not enough to feel like your carrying around a pint. However it sounds like the OP is having a flushng issue which is not good.
Xcel Drylock booties might be a good idea. They have a sort of gasket at the top which minimizes flushing.
