Ya pulled the early and scored today. 3 ft rights. Offshore wind. Great shape. Had so much fun drawing clean lines on a 7 foot board. THere were too many good waves there was no time to rest after a ride because another good one would be there again. A few boarderline tubes/head dips.

And winters here arent cold in north NJ. Wetsuits are so good it doesnt even matter. Not hardcore at all its so warm n blissful. Im not even in my 6/5 yet.

Still an inconsistent clean wave out there now. Checkin it later.

This isnt winter yet....not on the calendar and not with water temps over 50 and air even warmer than that. Two toasty warm sessions this week in a 4/3. Post-session street changeouts that were comfy and pleasant. Thats just not east coast winter surfing. Still fall surfing.

Absolutely! If it's at least one foot, I am def going out with my longboard. It is always worth suiting up. Beats staying home and doing laundry

Glad to see this. I see so much hate for longboarding, and in the summer I see so many people who only show up when it's firing. Glad the winter crowd is more laid back and fun, and just enjoying surfing.

Took the longboard out today in 2-3ft surf. Surfed by myself for an hour and a half and loved it.
Water temps are around 50 right now in Delmarva, so yeah, not that cold yet. December usually isn't so bad, but January and February reach a different level of cold. But, my perspective is a bit skewed, because I haven't surfed in anything over a 4/3 in years. Maybe this year I'll invest in a thicker suit.

Sounds nice. It was -15 here today at noon and it's been like that for 3 weeks. I'm not even going to the beach again until temps break 10. Brutal cold snap. Only waxing I'm doing is on my skate skis...

Water temp is touching 60F again here. I will probably be out Friday afternoon in a spring suit.
