Glove Type

Just curious what type of glove you guys prefer. Lobster claw, mitten, all fingers free? I have mittens and a 5 finger but almost always wear the mittens just because they keep me so much warmer even though they're both the same thickness. Paddling with them takes some getting used to though.

i own 5 finger ones and there brand new and i went out with my friends five year old mittens and they were still warmer.

I wear 5mil lobster claws an occasionally touch them up with some wetsuit glue and they work the entire winter.

same here soup, 5 mil claws. they keep me hands warm through rhode island winters too.

The claw for the cold of winter. Although wore 5 finger 3mil today and was ok

Have mittens and lobster claws. Definitely prefer the mittens. Feel like my index finger has fallen off in the claws.

I use 3mm 5 fingered gloves for the added dexterity until it's cold enough to go to the 5mm mittens.

I also find that the lobster claws come apart on the seam between the index finger and the rest of the fingers... as well as the whole index fingers going numb problem.
