Black Friday wetsuit help?? VA Beach

Time to replace the ol' piss stained piece of dry rot hanging in the shower. I know wrv has 10% off, and 17th st. has 20% off. (Does 17th even carry xcel suits?, I'd like to give em' a try and it's been a while since i've been in that place.) looking for a 4/3, or maybe even a 5/4. Anyone here know of a deal this weekend? Thanks.

Go online man you'll find tons of deals, especially today and tomorrow.

Xcel is definitely a good suit. Its my top choice! By far is the warmest most flexible suit I have ever owned! Keep in mind though I live in Florida so I don't know how they hold up with ice in the water!

I have an Infinity but you may want to look into the Revolt or even better the Drylock. The Drylock is supposed to be the number one suit this year.

Go to the stores to try them on and also see I'd they have any older suits for cheap. Otherwise purchase throuf h amazon or wetsuit warehouse. Oh and I'd go to the oceanfront check out rks across from 17th because they some awsome deals this time of year.

I hear that. I like trying 'em on before I through down the cash. Didn't RK's go bankrupt? I figured they locked up the doors. I'm replacing a billabong foil 4/3 that's more than served it's purpose. It was around 130.00 new.

I ended up with a billabong revolution. (1st chest zip for me) Had it out yesterday for a minute. It's funny was a difference a new suit makes. I got it at WRV 15% off and they threw in gloves and a hood with the purchase of boots I didn't need. They also threw in a hard back pipeline book that looks good on the coffee table. I saw where they had 200 bucks off all boards. I had to talk myself out of pulling the trigger on that, and picked up a solid little body board for my kid. He's gonna be stoked to see it under the tree in 3 weeks. Thanks for the ideas.

I've been watching this dual survivor show and one of the dudes just walks around in the snow bare-foot. He claims that he is toughening up his mitochondria in his feet to put off more heat and not be "cold". I see no reason that this wouldn't apply to surfing in cold water. I'd suggest starting bare back it now so that you can gradually get down in to the really cold stuff and allow your mitochondria to adjust. Good luck.
