    i had a set when they first came out. no noticeable difference from the standard fin (on a shortboard)

    Stand up paddle boards ( only lame if trying to surf in a lineup or crowd)

    speaking of...how 'bout duct tape as acceptable temporary ding repair? could be the worst thing for a dinged board other than just surfing it w/ the ding open to the water. where did this piece of horrid misinformation come from??

    at certain spots (none in the continental US), i'd seriously consider wearing a helmet. tom carroll wears/wore one at pipe & swears it saved his noggin more than once. i'm surprised we don't see more at chopes when it gets big.
