You are exactly right Rob. Jerz is by far the most henious place to surf on the East Coast. Much better in N.Y. & Del. Surf there. Your old lady will love you for it!

there's already a couple weird looking "sea walls" just around the point. Probably 10' high, 8' at the base, and20' long. there's a bunch of them at the water line spaced too far apart to be of any help to the dunes.
I first saw the beach at 80th st in 76. I drove my vw van to the end of the street and could see the waves by standing out the door. It sure has changed. All the sand from the resort gets pushed up there after getting washed away. got more beach but less waves.
