Good to know. Thanks. I am excited to get down to JAX at some point if I have time and a swell lines up. Thus far, there havent been too many swell opportunities. I also have not made it up to Folly/Charleston yet, but I plan on timing that accordingly and spending a day up there...

But I love my computer... I can say that sandy brought some of the best waves I've ever seen but not owning a jet ski made it hard to manage. I think ive surfed a handful of days that have been fun clean swells. This winter has been warmer than average so that means no low pressure systems throwing us fun waves. I know the term "fun" is subjective. Fun to me is a clean swell anywhere waist-up, maybe 4 days of this? Idk. I seem to remember winters in the recent past with runs of swell that aren't just a day or two. I saw a group of SUP's doing yoga floating in a line behind my house..was that you dawn patrol?

I think Willis55 needs to get off the computer every once in a while...lol
I ride a 6'0. Ive been meaning to get a longboard to optimize the minimal swell we've been getting. I'm a bigger guy so I need a little pulse

I'd give it a 2, the 3 swells we did get just seemed to leave me wanting soooo much more. Its been pretty lame.

You're in HHI? That's just a day trip, try during the springtime. March and April we normally get fun swells, and the weather would be nice enough to walk around and sightsee in St. Augustine w/ your fam

Not sure what that's supposed to mean. Yoga classes are full of super hot chicks. Not to mention that it's excellent for surfing. Oh, wait. You sup. Sorry!

SE NC, 1/2. if you froth for waist high waves, 1. It is typically sad here in the winter tho, so maybe its a 10. Haven't been wet since Dec. Glad somebody seems to be getting waves out there...
