Yes, and if the rashguard doesnt work, you can get a rashguard with lining that is warmer. But you will get the most use from a 5/4 and 3/2. That transition point between the 2 isnt really that long.

Im going to start to wear a 3-2 now. Also 4-3 can last all year. Anything above that is too much.
lose the wetsuits and go boardshorts year round. that's what they do in Alaska.
in NJ it is possible to legitimately use a 6/5/4, 5/4/3, 4/3, 3/2, springsuit and topsuit and if you have lots of money it would be nice to have each one but a 5/4/3, 3/2 and topsuit get the the most use for sure, some guys get away with a 4/3 all winter provided it's a good one without leaks it all depends on your tolerance
