    Painting Surf Boards

    What type of paint pens and clear coats are waterproof and made for surfing? I can't get a straight answer anywhere online

    I use posca pens and pretty much any clear coat works... Or you can use spray paint or sharpie I guess haha

    Yes... helps remove any remaining dirt/residue and promotes a better mechanical bond. Stick to the finer grits, especially if you're doing any taping/masking... it can bleed under the tape through the scratches, especially if you use cheap tape or don't get the edge down tight. I don't go over 220.
