    Rockaway

    Is Rockaway safe to surf yet? I mean is the water full of sewage and are the roads bad or could i drive down from the city and surf it?

    yeah you can drive and probably have an easy time parking downtown, 90th. But I feel I have to say the usual... no no one can surf here anymore. they chained off the beaches and put spikes into the lineup...
    go to jersey. lol.
    kidding.
    the biggest problem for surfing appears to be the lack of surf we've had here..

    One other note... I don't know if the shops downtown are open yet if you need to buy wax or anything like that.. but the shop on 116th is open...
