What are some of the weirdest things you have done in your wet suit. I thought of this this morning while standing in my bathroom shaving my face while still in my 6,5,4, because I didn't want to be cold before my shower. Some more examples from my own experience:
Taking big dumps on the beach (usually at dawn after coffee and smoke on the way to the beach)
getting really high
I had more but now I cant remember them now that I'm writing it down.
What have you all done?
The most I've ever do/done was drive home in my suit or change out of my suit on campus. Im sure we've all had a dump to drop but I always remember to pull down my wet suit first... taking a piss is a given too..
Back in the 80's I had a friend that was involved with the "Barrier Island" resort complex in Duck NC. the first thing built was the building holding the heated pool and hot tub across the street from a killer break. we'd surf then run across the street and jump in the hot tub. the first time we did it, I stood up and the legs of my WS bulged out at least 6". I joked to my bud that I got elephantiasis. He stood up and blew the legs out of his. At the end of the season, I had to return my suit for repairs under warranty. We got another season out of the pool until the guard caught us.
Hahaha... Chich, that reminds me of this summer. Me and my buddy went back to his house in W hampton NY after a surf and jumped in the pool. He started filling his suit up with water by pulling out the neck. He got it so full of water he was floating around. Then he rolled himself out of the pool and had probably 20 gallons in his suit. It was absolutely ****ing hilarious. We were all surprised it didn't split the suit. Then he pulled the neck while laying on the ground and all of the water just rushed out. It was so Classic! I'll post this pics if I find them
Maybe not necessarily weird, but locked myself out of my car (and thus, apartment building) in a wet 6/5. Called my roommate on a borrowed cell phone but was stuck outside for about half an hour. In urban Greater Boston. In a wet 6/5. In December.
