Sorry buddy, but things aren't better.
25 years ago, Detroit was screwed. Anyone in the auto industry could see that poor quality compared to the Japanese would kill the US auto market. They hit rock bottom and are now rebounding nicely. In fact, there are jobs all over in Detroit now in the auto industry. Skilled work hasn't completely come back, but it never will. Automation has reduced the number of skilled laborers needed. I work in the auto industry now, and the US is in a good position. We just need to keep focused on quality, and things will continue to get better.
I still drink on the beach. The laws down here are only used to discourage drunk college idiots and keep litter down. No cop will ever bother you if you have some beer in a plastic cup and not acting like an arsehole. The dollar is also doing well now. The Euro is having issues while the EU goes through a similar recession. Housing market is back big time down here. Overseas outsourcing has always been an issue, and it has nothing to do with our government. That is all due to the pro capitalism world Americans live in.

I hate Mitt Romney. Obama was the only option, even if it wasn't a good option.

There actually was (allegedly, don't believe anything!) an eye witness to these attacks, who saw the bomber place at his feet the bag that moments later would leave him without his legs. His name is Jeff Bauman, who as soon as he regained consciousness being unable to speak, begged for a piece of paper and pen so that he could write that he looked the man who took his legs from him, right in the eyes.
    zaGaffer! what up?

well there are rumors floating around and in a news article it is said he was helped to identify Tzarnev with the help of um who? FBI. the same FBI that has the video evidence that no one has seen. c,mon lets see the footage. that would end all controversy and give the FBI's story full credibility. so why haven't they released it? hmmm
there's also a lot of controversy around Jeff's credibility too.
doesn't sound like much if brought into a court of law.
we used to have due process you know.
not calling it a conspiracy but any critical thinker would have many questions. blind faith will just leave you ending up walking off a cliff.

well I guess you didn't take a look at your ballot than. there were a handful of other options that represented an agenda other than the one we have now.

Been driving a Ford all my life. Current truck 210,00 mile and no issues. just typical maintenance. brakes tires etc.
I guess Clinton's NAFTA had nothing to do with the outsourcing then. take a look at Obama's pick for jobs czar. former head of GE. he's outsourced record amounts of jobs in the past two years.
take a look at Obama's Trans Pacific Partnership. if that goes through our job situation will look like China's.
as far as drinkin on the beach, well you haven't been to New Germany. we got cops on ATV.s rollin around lookin in coolers without any suspicion to do so.
if you think the dollar is doing well than you are seriously misguided. the fed is pumping out 85 b bu b billion dollars a month with the current QE3. there is nothing of value to back it up. ie gold. the bonds market is all based on digital money. profit out of thin air. its a bubble that will pop just like the fabricated housing market bubble. be smart. by something tangible of value. land gold silver. in 1917 if you had a million dollars and left it in the bank, today it would be worth 70,000. in 1917 if you had a million dollars worth of gold it would be worth 77 million today. don't listen to the mainstream economists, or that crook Soros.

    You absolutely should be sorry.

You live in a classic passive-aggressive socialist, sheep-mounting nation that still relies on sucking the teat of Great Britain for its largesse. Your history with your indigenous people is psychotic & disgraceful. The level of alcohol abuse in your island nation, with all the social abuse that comes with it, is right up at the top of the charts.

You rely on nations like the USA to protect you in time of armed conflict, at a severe cost to USA citizens & soldiers, so that your culture may raise their children & you may build your plywood contraptions in peace, then you criticize the very hand that offered you providence.

When you live in a glass house, sparky, don't throw stones.

The USMC is one of the primary reasons that you Kiwis aren't speaking Japanese today. How soon you conveniently forget how many thousands of Americans died to protect your little hobbit habitat. You think you're being witty & smart, but you are willingly disgracing our soldiers who died protecting your freedoms. That's lame, lil man.

You know, when you look at the two well-known island nations of the Southern Hemisphere, it's easy to see why the Aussies dominate. The Aussies understand the big picture of our planet. You people never have. That framework makes it clear as to why Oz is a global presence & why NZ is a sheep ranch.
