yea after dealing with jersey, delaware, marlyand, virginia bridge traffic. it would definitly take you upwards of 8 hours. its fine man, you keep talking **** about places you know nothing about. Stay in your traffic prone armpit of america state man and make sure your arm placement is right!

I actually agree with you about the coastline of New England. It has an amazing coastline with cliffs, reefs and points. The South doesn't even compare. Its your typical beachies there too.

glad i grew up surfing NE as a kid, and now i get to hid behind the heaviest lip on the east coast as a young adult down here. Better then sticking in one smelly secondhand barrel state and learning how to surf only one kind of beach break wave, plus a few others in the immediate pay-to-park vicinity ! Stay local man, it probably would be good for you

lol! that's pretty funny; i've been surfing in hatteras for over 20 years & have taken equivalently rough beatings at both nj & hatteras. the thing about nj is that it's COLD. sure, hatteras'll thump you good & pin you on the inside for 15min. nj'll do that & then flush your suit full of sub-40 water.

Keep surfing that mush and taking the drive to the outerbanks because your surf sucks. Wait, I'm sure the locals in the outer banks love all you people coming down. You are equilavent to the people from north NJ, NY and PA coming to our breaks, uninvited guests.

but the se does have many many uncrowded undeveloped barrier islands that are scattered like little secretes all along our coast. jersey doesn't have that kind of "beachie" Try camping by yourself on a barrier island where there is no people around for miles and you have a glassy peak all to yourself and your boys for a couple days, and tell me the south east sucks.

What do you know about NJ, lol? I've been to the places I've mentioned. Have you been to the shore communities in NJ and I'm not talking Seaside?
