yes, very funny indeed. It does smell of trollness? Otherwise, sorry, but no...as in no waves for you.

face it, even when it gets jammed up with summer time madness, and the waves are half way good, you are not going to get much of anything at those spots, period. They do have it locked up for the most part, when it is worth while. I feel lucky I can snag some for myself, but only because I know how the spots work on winds and swells.......other then that, I get the camera out, because once the locals are on it, it is best to give them some room to play.........so do not get in their way!

And watch out for those OC GROMS! I have seen "gangs" of them run grown men out of the water. Getting beat down by five to six 14 to 18 year olds can not be fun.

    Ha, ha.....have fun.

The summer barley has any waves. Also surfers can only go late in the day or to the surfing beachs. Bodyboarding is better for summer.

Why do you guys get all protective over the summer beaches. The summer blows. there are never any waves in the water. we call the waves the one foot wonders. It's a joke. Even if the waves do get good all of the torist are too scared to go in the water anyway. So it's really not a problem.

the only worse scenario is this....

im from West Virginia and my grandma just bought me a 7'6" NSP and a nice spring suit with some boots and webbed gloves for when its cold in the summer. I also heard that surfing without a leash and letting your board get washed through the lineup is a good idea?

haha i mean for christ sakes dude...you might wanna do a little research and at least get the know how you can before you get in the water...it wont be from me.but you'll get a lot of flack from other guys..

so do yourself a favor..ditch the PA licenseplate...get a decent learner board...and dont be a kook. Then come back.

Not a problem?? Jimbo....you're probably one of those kooky tourists who doesn't get in the water when it gets big anyway. I think I speak for a lot of people on this website when I say....if you hate the summer that much....DON"T GO SURFING HERE

    I highly recommend. . .

. . . South Side Indian River Inlet. You'll be very welcome there for sure. They'll even tell you where to go for the best position. That, and trade your Merrick for a bodyboard and some fins and you're sure to find many more friends there.

Dude let me give you some words of wisdom...go out and do the research for yourself...Learn your breaks even if it means driving to find out there is no waves. Put in the time and good luck with a brand new surfboard at any of the inlets..good luck..put in the time
