Yeah, who likes incredible food, women, art, music, and history anyhow?
Access to anything and everything a person could want within a stone's throw, AND surf. Area sucks.

a kook from tampa lecturing people on surfing. you seriously can't make this crap up. LOL
You don't act like a middle aged man. You also don't have the literary skills of an educated one. Cool off and try to post with a little less anger.

i'm not here brag or to bag on florida, i'm here to bag on floridians who think they live in some kind of premier surf destination. here's a newsflash, the only people who travel to east florida for waves are people from west florida so please get over yourselves. as a fellow floridian, you are embarrassing the rest of us..
It just started warming up down here, but the weather has been perfect all spring. Summer heat really is between June - October around here. Nov / Dec are typically pretty mild and it begins to cool off. Jan - March has cold spells but it's usually perfect weather. So really there is only 5 months of serious heat, but that's hurricane season so it's a bit of a trade off.

As someone who claims to be from here, you sure don't know a lot about it. You sound like most everybody i've ever met from NYC, they all say the same things, think everything is better in NY, but then they move down here and never go back, wonder why that is. I wonder why so many of yous guys move to FL but do nothing but talk about "back home". I hardly ever hear of anybody moving from FL to NY, so i'm tempted to call BS on your story about being from here, although you may be one of the random few who decided to leave. If you are truly from FL, we true Floridians are glad you left. Don't claim to be a Floridian when you live in NYC, THAT is embarrassing to the rest of us who really are from here.

And lastly, many of people in this very thread have said they have come to Florida to surf, and have had friends who have done the same, so by saying "the only people who travel to east florida for waves are people from west florida" shows how completely full of sh*t you really are.

You can have all those things. We got incredible food here, just like anywhere else in the world. Women? Don't even compare NY to FL, that's a joke, Art? Who cares about overpriced pieces of canvas, can find that anywhere in the world. History, what ever floats your boat.

So much anger. Can't we all just agree that the east coast sucks for surfing. If anyone says they moved to a part of the east coast just for surfing, they are obviously full of sh1t. As I said before, the guys in Cali must get a kick out of these posts.

Your ability to communicate using proper sentence structure is rather poor. Punctuation is also an issue.
