So our city wastes their time giving surfers tickets instead of cracking down on the thugs we had during the Great African Migration

Just tell them you were shotting the pier and it is what Alan Iverson would do. You would be whisked away to a mental institution but you get off on insanity. Despite the straight jacket, you get off the charge and delay the criminal lifestyle...for now

Better yet, threaten a repeat of the aforementioned event posted by buttons. VB life will truly be exciting

Unlike a lot of you heathens I actually support our police. Yeah some of them are fat and lazy but most of the new young cops are a different breed. Clean cut and lean. They have pretty strict standards. I actually know a fat lazy a-hole that wanted to be a VB police and they told him, "Sorry fatboy, maybe if you lay off the mountain dew and marlboros for a year and try again." Of course they were just being friendly, he'll never kick that dew.

I have to say that what I think we have here is a bit of denial. 757surfer brah, brister, brosolito, I think you have to be honest with yourself. Were you getting a huge rush being close to the pier because you knew it was illegal? Tell the truth young man. Are you a daredevil? A thrill-seeker? An extremist even?

I'm not going to say it's your fault for getting a ticket, well yeah actually that's what I'm saying. It was your fault. You knew it was illegal and it made your session exciting. All up until you got caught. Like a kid stealing a cookie from the cookie jar, or more likely in your case a cigarette when pa was taking his morning dump. Hopefully this was an eye opening experience for you. The lesson is obviously this: You can do illegal things and get away with it, and it's fun, but that's only until you get caught. And you will get caught. It's a simple odds equation. Spin the roulette wheel enough times and eventually it'll land on every number.

Got arrested once for not obeying a plain closed cops orders to come in. He never identified himself. Was surfing in a swimming zone that was a surf zone for 30 years prior but changed to swimming after the construction of some condos in front. As I was handcuffed in front of about 100 beach goes they they started chanting die cop die. I was charged with disobeying orders from a pig and inciting a riot. It was thrown out of court due to the ridiculacness of the whole thing. Went repeatedly at night and cut the ropes marking the swimming area until the township gave up and opened it back up for surfing.

no its just were the best sets were coming in. its a designated surfing zone for a reason. It really was an honest mistake. this is the first ticket ive gotten in my whole life. most of the time i try to walk the path of least resistance. It's not even worth it in the end man. i'm just here to surf and smile. aren't we all?

It's ok mr 757. Come join me in the other vb, you know, the one connected to the outer banks... there are no cops out here. I know that I sure don't want to hang out with northendcanyon. No fun at all, and the north end SUCKS

I'd like to clarify that the canyon jacks up swells that connect into the shore break down in corova. You have to have a jetski to get out there though. Ya'll might have seen me through the fog shredding the giant walls out there last week. I'm sure it looked like a mirage and you just assumed it was the meth you smoked before the session causing hallucinations but it was the real deal.

I'm willing to let your transgression pass lee, I'll even throw out the offer to bring your step up and ride out to the canyon and do some paddle surfing on the biggest gnarliest swells this coast has ever seen. I might have to sacrifice a puppy to poseidon so pick on up on your way.
