So 3 years later and what did you decide. Dwart or Dom. Lots of experience riding 5 8 Dom so kinda curious if you went with Dwart. L00king at Dwart as a substitute for buying TAK egg or T&C Glide. This is based on 6 2 x 21 x 2 7/8 DIMS. This is over 41 in volume for surfer whos volume is normally 25-27.

I know there are TONS of boards out there and there is always a huge "local shaper" sentiment on these forums and I fully respect that (my long board is made locally), but I'm specifically looking at these two boards.
I'm 5'7 175lbs and fit. I'm looking to make better turns and up my wave count. I thought the Dwart and the Dom would be good options for an all around hybrid board. Can anyone attest to the differences I'd feel between the two boards?
my numero uno stick is a 6/8 dominator so i'll tell ya what i know. works just fine
frontside, better backside. no dings in 2 years. not so much luck w/quad set-up….
better 3 and i have about 15 other boards but this one my main squeeze…..
the dominator is good for a one board quiver.. doesnt do great in the small weak stuff and isn't great in the head high punchy stuff bc of its wide tail.. for something in between anything 2+ i found the potatonator to be unreal.. goes so well in the knee to waist stuff but also goes well in chest high surf as well.. i have a unibrow, hellrazor as well and my potatonator is my go to board on long island and down in nc...i've tried the sweet potato too and thought the potatonator did better in our beach breaks as well.. next up for me is either a chubby chedda, nano, or pyzalien.. i went too big on the unibrow so itll be relagated to heavy rubber season
yankee, these brads need to go find the thread from the last moon calendar where we were revering upon the Dwart. A good stick for wave surfing - when the surfer surfs waves on beaches under the sun it is great fun and I hope to wave surf on a Dwart it is a wonderful experience.
