My board is strapped to the ceiling of my van so it's a matter of swell. Past few years, opportunity was there but no waves. everytime I open my truck, I see what's missing in my life.

Congrats on your business, always admired folks who can run their own business. Maybe one day I'll get there..

Dawn patrol has been my go to time to surf w/work and family. I don't like strictly being a weekend surfer (except for this weekend obviously) so I've used more vacation time to surf so far this year than anything else. But I know from observation that the restaurant business is a 24/7 time, but there always will be waves

drop in on 23 footers, benching 20 foot bull sharks over our heads - which qualifies as a tandem event.

Thanks, it kinda just happened. I had every intention of living in CR. I met a powerful guy in Manzanillo, malpais area, who was going to build me a technical school, and had a house given to me by a rich kraut I had helped. God evidently wanted me here. A month after my last trip to paradise, my daughter was preggers, I had a truck a bidniz license and a good sized client list. 05 was a good year for waves too. Almost every day in July was rideable.

Yeah, things have been crazy but exciting. I got out last night for a little while right as the storm passed through. Heavy current, high sideshores, but is was a solid 5 feet. only 6-7 second period, but it had a few shoulders. Got a nice little 45 minute session while all the guards had gone away for the night. I was for sure the only person out any where near coligny. But I sat here watching it for hours while we got dumped on by rain...

My damn brother in law took my car to maryland and left me his jeep for gas mileage reasons, and on the way home, I had only stuck his soft top back seat windows on with the velcro. Both flew off somewhere between the north and south end of the island. I doubled back and found one in the pitch black, but I still am missing the damn back right zip on window. Now I will have to come out of pocket for a new window for him. Damn jeeps. So that was a crap way to end the night. But whatever. Cant wait to get my car back though.

Good luck, should be a good season right now for HHI and Savannah. I'm taking the family for a little trip in Savannah next month and maybe we'll do a pit stop at Hilton Head too.
