Drying a wetsuit, getting rid of mold

I've bought both my 3/2 Bodyglove wetsuit and my 5/4 Oneill around 5 years ago, and also have a 1.5 mil. long sleeve shirt.
On both my 5/4 and 1.5 mil shirt, I've come across mold. I've also found mold in my booties.

    1) I've read that bleaching them is a definite possibility; however, I was wondering if there is any other way I can get rid of the mold.

    2) How should someone normally dry their wetsuit so that it won't get moldy.
    - I've read that applying head like placing it in the dryer is an absolute no no.

    3) Since they're already 5 years old, maybe I should just get new wetsuits?

Let me know what you guys think,
Appreciate any help, and Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads out there!

    I would start here: http://www.sinkthestink.com/index.html

Then after that wash with a cap full of baby shampoo.

Biggest worry I would have is the hood. Too close for comfort.

New suits would be best, but $$$. But I would at least try to save them.

For prevention, dry the st in a closed room with a dehumidifier in it . That works well for me. Or amspace heater which createsnwarm super dry air. Store it in a low humidity room.

Sounds to me like your not washing them very well, wash them well and as gfootr said use baby shampoo, after that hang them outside if its a warm day, out of the sun turned inside out, this may take a day or two, but make sure they are completely dry before storing them, I hang mine on a thick hanger in a cool closet for the summer. Hope this helped you out.

I would PM Pattington Jetty Bear if I were you.... I hear he's the resident wetsuit expert and he really takes this stuff seriously.

I would just bit the bullet and spray some bleach /water mixture on it- let it sit for five min and rinse it off quick. Bleach bro bleach... You can also use the bathroom mold and mildew spray- it's gots bleach in it- I have used it before

Dude, rinsing out a wetsuit should never be that kinky. You sure that's mold you're dealing with?
