And doesn't even apologize. Yeah, it's summer all right. Then when fall comes all of the fishermen will be lined up on the beach, casting their hooks at the best breaks.
Sorry to hear about that Scarecrow. Restraint is always a good thing...before you know it, Labor Day.

Fortunately the dog wasn't hurt. Labor Day = the lull between the tourists and the fishhooks.

here is my summer rant this really shouldn't bother me as much as it does but...
out at dawn this morning. small little zippers hitting a shallow sand bar perfect for riding a long board. There was a pack of shortboarders out there and almost all of them were in 3/2's and some were in BOOTIES! Its July 31st on Long Island for Pete's sake. the water is like 70 degrees. you can't be that cold. you are probably uncomfortable hot. I think you just like to wear the uniform.

Free yourself from this. losing the suit is the best thing about summer!

alright im done i'll see you in court

I feel you. The booties are ridiculous, but as I have stated before, I have become a cold-water vagina in the past 12-15 years. So if that water aint up to 72-73, Im wrapping in rubber unless I only plan on being out there for 20 minutes or so...

When i lived in CA, the water would hover right around 70 in late July and maybe max out at 73 in August. I would go about 3 weeks each year in trunks. Mid august through the first week or two of sept.

The water in HB is 70 this week and EVERY contestant in the US open is wearing a full suit. I saw a couple guys in spring suits, but rubber is required for them to get maximum performance.

I love losing the suit, but my friends in CA would be trunking it in May when its 65 degrees and trust me, I have tried it. It SUCKS. I am all about comfort. 72 is my minimum to even consider dropping the rubber.

But again, I am a cold water vagina now.

when it blows hard offshore and an upwelling sends it to 58, rubber is needed
