Here is some info for you. http://www.state.nj.us/mvc/Violation...therStates.htm
You'll get assessed the two points, but it probably won't affect your insurance, unless you have other points on your license. NJ has reciprocity with just about everyone. It all depends on the judge, if you drive back and show you care they may be lenient, or the VA judge might have it out for all things Jersey since U-turns are illegal and enforce the fine.

Thanks Bill Cosby's nephew. However, you will never be as influential to a persons moral compass as your Uncle. Yes, i was speeding, maybe "fight" wasn't the correct choice of words, but in new jersey you can plea it down to a no points ticket. That is what I am looking to do.

Thanks David. The cop that wrote me the ticket was actually pretty reasonable, so who knows what could happen.

I used to cross the CBBT a lot for a supermarket chain, had 5 stores over there. One Saturday I took my son to help me when he was 10. I had a motor to replace on top of a case that was only 2 feet below a joist. I showed him how to do it, had him practice on the way, and we completed the job in record time.
Since he was with me, I didn't drive in my usual manor. was only going the speed limit, and wouldn't pass any vehicles(back when there was only 1 bridge.)
On the way back I get behind a touron who was going 40 mph while his heffer wife videoed their experience. I decided to pass. The guy sped up and I barely got in front of him before getting in the tunnel. Tunnel piggie pulled me and gave me a ticket for passing on the double line. Suggested just paying. I went to VB traffic court. He had a whole courtroom just for his tickets. he brought up every bodies past and pretty much won all. I was the last one called. There was a previous offender with my same, common, name. He was unprepared. the judge caught him in a lie, CASE DISMISSED. I talked an Eastern Shorer about the guy and was told he's was just mad because he couldn't be a real piggy.

The Fifth, Sixth, and 14th Amendments to the US Constitution give him a right to fight it. That's why.

Maybe he could get a job handing out etiquette violation tickets in the lineup during a crowded day. "Youse been served!" he could remark as he admonishes a shoulder hopper or two.
