Heading down w/ family. Anywhere I could go where it would work in knee high? Not gansett beach.
There's a couple spots west of judith if you bring your longboard/fish, but if you want to battle a pack of tourists for knee high crumblers, second beach works before most spots in ri. Lot's of red algae and 20 bucks to park if you get there after 9 or before 4. Good place to bring out a beginner if you have family members with you.
Does anyone else find it odd that a member who styles himself as RISurfer is asking about where you can surf in RI?
Dude, seriously though, it is going to be SMALL. I would not head west of judith with the forecast as is, you're just sheltering yourself more that way. Realistically, you're looking at your pick of Gansett or 2nd, and they're both probably going to be packed even though it's going to be tiny (Gansett is the worst like that, it can be a lake and the surfing area is jammed shoulder to shoulder).
If you have a log, are relatively proficient and don't mind really shallow, really rocky water, you can probably find a rideable wave at PJ, but with the current swell forecast being so small, you better be able to dodge some rocks.
