Thanks...versatility is what I'm hoping for. I'm also sick of toting the 10 footer all summer long. I'd be looking to get a used one, but thanks for the tip about the fins.

ENJOY SURFING ON WAVES THIS WEEKEND!

If the repair job just, "fell off" like you said, that's from improper prep. You need to get a good mechanical bond with epoxy repairs, and leaving any unsanded surface on the surrounding area will guarantee problems with bonding. Amine blush, wax residue, hand oils... a million different contaminants will inhibit the physical bond of epoxy-to-epoxy. There's no chemical bonding... only physical. You gotta take all surface epoxy off, get down to fresh epoxy below, and give it some tooth with at least 80 grit. Apply any filler needed, sand, then lay on your cloth. When that's cured, rough THAT up with clean paper, fair, hotcoat, sand.

Thanks LB, yeah...once it fell of off I could tell the proper prep work was not taken.
Dropped it off last night at the place I should have gain it to to begin with, and by the time I got out of the water tonight, they had called & said it was ready.

Damn, did anybody else get out tonight?
Where I was it was going off!
So amped! Can't wait till tomorrow
