Please don't act like your religion has a hard time getting its message across in the modern world. Most of us are spoon fed Christianity from a young age, taught to pledge allegiance under god. Taught to go to church or be the outcast. Taught to live by the translations in an ancient book, which often end up contradictin the core message. No sir, you are not the one who should be complaining. You had your foot in the door since day one, but some of us use education and common sense to look for real answers. It is one of those agree to disagree situations.

Happy Jewish New Year to all. May you all be inscribed in the Book of Life, get plenty of waves, and enjoy life's gifts. It came too early this year, as it usually falls in October and we always had waves on the holiday. That proved to me that God is a surfer. It is flat again today here in Jerzy South. Maybe he took up rock climbing this year. Remember, Jesus saves, but Moses invests. Shalom!
Man I laugh when the gun dudes worry aboot the guvment taking their guns away.........I don't know how background checks to keep people like me from owning a gun is akin to total gun prohibition but hey...........
But who in good Lord is going to stop people from talking aboot Jesus? Nobody in this country. Shoot, I think even some of the communists have relaxed that law against religion. I'm Irish, Cathoilc and drunk - the way God intended - so of course I'm down with Jesus or Hey Zues for all you Mexicans out there. But missionaries need to be put in big pot with carrots and potatoes and cooked........and eaten by Hawaiins.
It's 2013, everybody has heard of God and Jesus by now. Even Hawaiins..........
Remember, those who push religion on others - God gave us all FREEWILL to make our own choices and decisions. It is not the job of others to enforce things or push things.
Legalize it all and let God sort it out.

I surf at dawn, no issues at any time of year for me. Except loading the car up in mid-teen predawn mid winter cold.

Labor Day signifies good times for sure. Send the pale people back to Ohio!
I am always a little conflicted though since I have planned surf trips to the breaks of others (OBX & PR!) this fall.
Am I a hypocrite? Hell yeah my brethren! Do I care? Not really.
Unlike most touristas I try to maintain basic surf line-up etiquette while travelling. Respect the locals and don't snake their women. Bring your own party materials and whatever you do...don't push your religion on to others. Always remember you are a guest.
P.S. My surf trips are conducted as politically non-partisan and atheistic. Jesus is always welcome, he just needs to go to another forum when he decides to preach about anything else but His waves!
P.P.S. Like Geddy said. "Freewill."

Hey, where exactly is "Chiba City?"
Neil Peart wrote the dog lyrics, man. Tom Sawyer was crafty and clever, and Subdivisions is the bestest.
Though Mr. Peart can't compare to the wordsmiths of present day rap n' roll. Those guys are extra special. How do those guys get recording contracts? How? Who couldn't do that? Who? It's beyond simplistic............What are you people doing to this world? Please, stop it.

By the way, I am not sure how I hijacked anything. You must have missed this:
"Did not get a chance to read the thread, but it is good to see
you guys and girls talking about Happy Birthday Jesus!"
