First things first, I know some of you oddballs got excited when you thought this thread would be centered on the late 20th century UK band that the world really may have been better off without, but it's not.
I'm referring to the hypothesis of a phenomenon championed by one PB&J to rouse from the tranquil post-solstice ocean a sporadic, yet consistent ascension of wave height. It's still well in the phase of data collection, though the spontaneous disorganized state of the waters may be an outcome derived from a general acceptance of whatever El Mar gives to our natural world as well as the daily habit of vocalizing a prophecy of swell.
If you think it, it will come. It seems to be working for PB&J who reportedly got shacked on this otherwise day of undisturbed sea. Braddahs, try this at home. You may be quite satisfied with the fruits of positive statements of impending waves. If PB&J's faith in stoke proves to be a scientific fact, his sagedom will be ordained by placing him at the head of the table at Clemmy's harvest meal.

You've gone around the bend, again; you're posting thousands of things about your personal life that are disgusting. Keep the sausage fest that you're indulging in to yourself. Because we just don't want, nor need, to know.
You're the problem, emass8'. The reason that you're the problem is because you're that generation, not the boomers, not the gen x or gen y or gen why not. You're the gen that seriously believes in the fallacy that everything about yourself is utterly fascinating, and thus must be shared with everyone as soon as possible. Really not the case, kid, you're just not that interesting to anyone.
Therein lies the downside of the Internet. It gives inane a--clowns the ability to impose upon others without limitations. By extension, the a--clowns then become pervasive (see: 'bloggers') and metaphors for large mosquitoes.
Admin: when emass8' whines to you (again) will I receive an infarction for this post....?

The cure (the late 20th century band)
is infinitely more interesting than this post.....sorry...
And as Yankee said (in so many words), there is little interest in this world about anyone's personal lifecast...
I hated that band. My friends loved them...but they were all heavy drug users (x, coke, pot and acid), so there goes their credibility. I was already shipped off to boarding school by then, so I skipped most of the heavy stuff. Anyway, only cool song by the Cure was Fascination Street. Mark Cuban wears lipstick well:

OMG, I can not stand THE CURE and all of them f's like them.
Nahh, it's not some cosmic karma..........Jersey picks up swell. That's all. And I know the locations that do it the best.
Plus, it hasn't been consistent with these small but fun days. I'm surfing two days a week lately.......
Plus, your spot matters ALOT on these types of days. If you don't pick the right sandbar, you're going to have a bad time. Pizza....French Fries.....
No one from those barrier islands off Palmico Sound have been complaining this summer. The only people from Jersey who have been complaining aboot this summer are dudes who don't really surf much and complaining aboot a waist high July makes them feel "Cool." Like The Fonz, HEYYYYYYYY(Two Thumbs Up)
Jersey and the Banks are the consistent locales on the east coast. It's just the way it is. But then again, if Jersey has waves, OCMD usually does too.

I'm bumping this because he is so right. Seriously, I live in VB...yeah...that place. Even here there are bars that work and no I am not talking about the jetty. Some bars handle different swells and tides differently. UGH! What coast are we on? This post will now evolve...
I remember when I moved here (to VB...remember?). Everyone surfed and was a real shredmachine. UGH! Then I am out there about every day, looking for spots that could work in different conditions...you know...learning your break(s). Everyone joked me and would use the following phrases...
1. It ain't worth it unless its firin'
2. I only go out in mackin cane swell brah
3. I only ride performance thrusters
4. I like bustin' airs, so I'm not gonna waste me time
5. You are wasting your time.
6. Dude, just chill
7. Why are you always trying to do something
8. Head high or its not a wave
9. It's not clean enough
10. I don't like going out there alone
11. The tides not right
12. I'm having more fun right now
13. I'm out of shape
14. I only surf Hatty bro
15. I'm going to PR/CR/etc. next week
16. My parents won't give me any loot (as $$ is blown at the BOXX by an adult)
17. I used to
18. I hate longboards
19. I hate riding a fish
20. I hate this place
21. VA has no waves
22. The waves suck brah
23. I was at 17th street all afternoon
24. I don't roll without my crew
25. Yeah, I surf...just not today
Ok, I think I made my point of typing quotes. Hey, who wants to add some! Have I offended anyone yet? Maybe you say those same things and will take it personally! I hope you do. I also hope that GWAR feeds you to the worm...YUM
