$23 K worth of debt for every person on the island.. kind of scary. Unless of course they become a state! I've been there over 40 times in the last 30 years sure I wish I bought back in the late 80's but who knew .. What about Northern FLA never been any good? say Palm Beach..
I lived in north Fla in Jax beach but it's changed since I was there in the early eighties. I always liked going to ST. Augustine for a change of pace and liked it. I live In Wilmington now and the winters can be cold. I would rather live in Carolina Beach just south of here if I had my way...Wrightsville beach, the beach at Wilmington is a can of worms...IMO
I actually met him down there with his family a few years back... He ripped, his wife was cool and his 3-4 year old fishing by the rocks. Seemed like a cool dude.
It's a good spot because the waves are good (sometimes great), most speak English and it's tropical.

For some reason, this comes to mind: The guy from the FuelTV surfing show, Shayne McIntire, resides in PR with his family. He's from SoCal. Must be pretty good waves & pretty good living in PR if a global surf traveler picked that as his settle-down spot.
