That's good. My local bar is doing a Black Friday beer event. Good way to steer clear of the shopping madness.

Personally this is a very trying time of year. Holiday music drives me insane! The relentless foisting of seasonal drivel upon my ears is gonna result in someone getting cut. Why must we suffer so? Playing the same 20 carols over and over for 2 months is maddening. Please Santa, bring us some waves!

I'm gonna dig myself a hole.
    Gonna climb right in it

Beer, ganja, PCP are not material goods........

Wetsuits and surfin' boards are NOT material goods either.

All of these things are mere vehicles to natural enlightenment.........They are intermediaries to a greater source.

You don't just post your board up against the wall and stare at it. The board transcends material status as soon as your toes touch the sand, or rocks for you Rhode Island guys at one of them California-named places.

Car and gasoline are fine too. It's transportation, dudes. Material goods are things that really serve no special magical function like PCP does. TV's, video games, jewelry, dohickeys, cell phones(yeah, you're not talking aboot anything special - trust me, you're not), are materials.

NO, your video games do not create magic like PCP, unless you play the video games on PCP(Rohrer & Westmoreland St).

Hold it, now I'm getting confused here. I reckon watching Teen Mom 2 can be pretty special, but I don't know if that legitimizes television sets. I'm blowing my mind here trying to tie things together and making distinctions......

Spicoli and Seen, you'll have to take over on this one. You guys are pretty deep. But are you material? What aboot MIS-13? Is he material or is he just one part of a bigger community dedicated to utopia? So in actuality, is he, by himself nothing, hence not a material good?

On Friday I will be hours away from the nearest Walmart. Sighting in my .270 Winchester, getting my stand ready, and consuming two of the three "non-material" goods in Bill's list. Sorry Bill, I don't think Pops (still knocking back the Jack Daniels at 80 years old) will go for PCP. It's actually fun to still have to sneak into the woods at Deer camp at the age of 50 to toke without Pops seeing. If you want to find me, Google SHUNK, PA. Find Rt 154 and follow it about 4 miles north. It's the best place to be on Black Friday besides the ocean.

Man, this is getting all metaphysical and stuff...let me first say I fully agree with the items deemed non-material...boards, cheeb, etc. As far as material nature of myself/other humans...I guess we'd have to draw a distinction b/t physical and material objects(us humans being the former)....

"or rocks for you Rhode Island guys at one of them California-named places"...that was friggin' hilarious.

One of the best pieces of meat I've ever eaten was a pan seared piece of back strap...not quite sure how it was seasoned it but it was so good.

If I was allowed to drive I would quite possibly "hunt" you down, Chavez. But the law has spoken and this time I'm not breaking their rules regarding driving on suspended.

Don't give Brewengineer any jerky. HA !!

You guys really shouldn't shoot deer, but to each his own. I have a list of much better targets, if anyone wants to step up their hunting game. And y'all leave the bears alone.

And Chavez, no fornicating with barn yard animals. I know alcohol does strange things to people.

One time I was forced to go to a "meeting" and this dude started talking aboot his drinking and his attraction to farm animals. I swear. I was glad I went to that meeting. I don't get blown away too often, but I was speechless after that dude spoke........speechless. Shocked.......
