Thread: who has ghosts?

    who has ghosts?

I noticed Lee does. My house is haunted as schitt. Moved into the wife's Gdads house in '85 when the kids were young. I did some modifications, cutting out walls, making 2 living rooms into 1 living room and attached the kitchen so the wifey could cook and mingle. that's when things got weird. I'd put stuff down, come back, it's gone. I'd blame the kids for messing with my stuff, come back and it would be there. "I KNEW YOU'RE MESSING WITH MY CRAP" I'd say. after they grew up and, I thought it was too much mota messing with my memory. that, I didn't actually look where it showed up. I would tap the place I thought I left it, return, and there it'd be. I'd say thanks. Once I went to get the tray with my weeds. I asked the wife where it was, she said under the chair by the bed. when I got to the chair, the pan was indeed ther. as I stepped for it, the pan came out from the chair. Again, I said thanks, and added, for not touching me.

We were partaking in the living room and my son just walked in like he still lived there. The wife put the hitter between the couch arm and cushion. after he finally left, she reached for it and couldn't find it. We removed the couch cover and shook it. felt around the edges of the couch, nothing. so we put it back together, sat down and my wife was showing me how she stashed it. and pulled it out from between the arm and cushion.

This happened to me twice. I'm sitting in my parent's (vacant at the time) old farm house and I hear the screen door open and shut then footsteps down the hall. I think it's my father and I start a conversation. after no response except more foot steps, I walk into the kitchen to see what's up and find no one there. The first time time I was with a group of friends and we were all freaked out and left and spent the night at another friend's house. The next time I was alone.
I told my father and he said the times I heard the screen door and footsteps in the hall would have been my grandfather coming in from the milk house. 11:30 PM and 11:30 AM. After I found that out, I wasn't quite as scared. And it never happened again. That was close to thirty years ago.

That's it? That's all the ghost stories?

So, aliens trump ghosts on Swellinfo.com.......

That's too bad. I find ghosts more interesting.

I gots 30 years of them. I was going to a surf movie in VB and was looking for a Dominical Surf Shop Tshirt, so I could show the hodads how cool I is. couldn't find it searched high and low. when we came home, it was folded and lying on my bed. Thing is, I was working for a company that had uniform service, so every week, I had 8 to 10 clothes hangers. we hung up everything except socks and undergears. I again thanked them for not touching me.
One Sunday AM, we were in bed reading paper and getting our minds right. I placed the device on my chest, drank some coffee, and it was gone. I thought it rolled off while replacing the cup. I got up and shook my shirt, nothing. I took the covers off and shook them, nada. While the wife and I were smoothing the mattress cover, I saw it when it was 3 inches off the bed, and it landed between us.

Chic I'm not saying there are not ghosts but all your stories have one thing in common, you were high! Maybe you were just so stoned you thought it was ghosts?

    evidently you've never been stoned.

Our nieces boy friend was from Guam. At 16, his parents made him quit school to help support the family. The next year, they told him they were moving to Fla and there's no room for him. He was a nice kid, we had 2 empty rooms so I told him he could move in but he'd have to put away $100 a week because he'd have to take over the house when we moved to CR.
He got up and left for work before us and he'd come home at 9. Always quiet. One night around 10 we heard someone tromping up and down the hall. I didn't want a confrontation, so I let it slide until morning. I asked him what time he got in and he said 9. I told him what I heard, and he said he hears crap all the time. I suggested he not make eye contact because it would drive him insane.

Um yeah I just smoked daily for 22 years until August when I quit but no tell me what it's like to be stoned because I seem to remember forgetting where I put stuff then finding it a bit later just like you did in your stories. Ironically since I stopped I have been seeing more "things/shadows" out of the corner of my eye. Maybe the ghosts only appear to me when sober. Like I said I do believe in ghosts but think there is far more convincing evidence of them than the stories of stoners forgetting where they put their bowl then finding it 5 minuets later.

If you were stone maybe you wouldn't forgotten I wrote I thought that was the problem and would tap where I put it, saying out loud, I put it here, then returning to find it there. fire it up, dooden heimer. you'll be a better person for it.
One night, I was almost asleep, my side of the bed is next to the portal to hell, I opened my eyes and saw a tall man and a small girl standing too close so I did what anyone would do, pull the covies over my head.
It's dark now so I won't write after this. But when I have to secure the house at night, I don't look at anything until I jump in bed.
