yea. u think we're gna get som decent swells this summer tho? or is this high pressure really gna kill all of summer surfing? i'd cry tears of joy if we got a stomach glass day.
better find ur swimmies and that old boogie.....![]()
As much as I hate the typical summer high pressure systems, we can get some fun surf when a strong bermuda high sets in. Two summers ago, it was well positioned and we got some fun (nothing special) and consistent surf out of it.
Does anyone know the typical trend for the bermuda high?
yep, your right. The high pressure is much closer to the coast than the typical bermuda high, so we are not receiving the southerly flow on the west side of the high as per a normal bermuda high.
Generally, the Bermuda high can create small, 1-3ft medium period (7-10sec) SE swells.
ur def right about the same drama every year...lol...i always ***** about it being to cold in the winter and pray for summer....and then when it gets warm and crowded i ***** about it being to crowded and cant wait for winter...lol...its a vicious cycle
The spring and fall are the diggity dank, late tropical swells, noreasters or large fronts in early spring, school is back in for groms, less tourons, less jellyfish, and the cooler water is actually refreshing, If you have a good flexible 3/2 , game on..
