Matt Kechele - Pug Performer
Get it in the mid to upper 7ft. range. (not a tuflite like the picture though)
Its what I learned on and still continue to ride a lot, years later, cause its such and awesome board. Catches nice and holds well in bigger surf, has a lot of drive, and turns great.
I was thinkin about getting a 7S superfish xl. Yeah or nah?
I'm against pop outs but that type of shape is good. longer and wider equals more stable and stability will make it easier to learn.
I believe both boards are very similar, although I am not sure if the 7S has as the ease of handling that the Kechele does. I have never ridden a superfish but I don't believe it has the same amount of entry rocker that the Pug Performer does, and is also a bit thicker in the tail.
These are only assumptions, can anyone else inform about the 7S?
dude its fine. so is the Kechele. dont spend $600. Buy a used 7 foot funshape off the rack for $200. it really doesn't matter despite what everyones going to tell you. just don't but a chip.
For the first year the ONLY thing that matters is paddle out EVERY chance you get.
Yeah thanks man. I've been bondyboarding for a while but I've just been wanting to start surfing
I actually have a question along the same lines
I've been riding a 7'2 fun board for a while and i'm thinkin of going shorter
any suggestions?
