    It did look like a silhouette of a surfer at the very end.

    there was a guy on here a few months ago wanting info for the fillies. I sent him to Hess' facebook. wonder if he went?

    Does anyone else remember the expose Surfer did on Cloud 9 in the late 80's/early 90's?

    Supposedly an earthquake changed the break a little for the worse, but I think it's still considered one of the world's best waves when it's on.

    I would imagine there are 1,000s of other waves just like it or better in their archipelago, but you'd have to get all Marco Polo and Captain Cook to find them.

    With that many islands, there are tons of undiscovered coves, corners, etc. that will light up with the right swell
