Just recently moved about 5 minutes away from CB so it makes sense that I would go there instead of WB. Wondering where the better breaks are or if its mainly consistent throughout the island. The only place I've been is near north end but I've heard of some other places. Hoping to go out this weekend and catch some fun ones.
When you see 4 people surfing on a particular peak and there are empty ones up and down the beach, DO NOT PADDLE OUT WHERE THE PEOPLE ARE!!!
Seriously, this has been happening a lot to me recently... it's like I have a sign on top of my head saying "PADDLE OUT WHERE I AM." I mean really, it seems like it's only gotten really bad since this past fall and it happens more at CB than WB in my experience. What is the deal? Are more and more "surfers" around here actually scared of the water and need to be right beside another human (like that's gonna do them any good anyway)?
How has it gotten so difficult for people to understand it's poor etiquette to paddle out right on top of someone else? Do people really think "hey, those two dudes already in the lineup on that peak sure would love for me and the two people I rolled up with to paddle out right into their spot."?
One exception to that. Last time I was at Holden up by the inlet and after catching one and turning to paddle back out there was a smoking hot girl paddling out literally right in front of me straight to the exact spot I was hitting.
