I'm hitting Rye in about 2 hours. Wish I could have scooted our earlier.
Good and when you pass the aqueous parking lot/coffee shop that T** W*** is, give them a couple toots of the horn. Go to the beach break we talked about and it should be clean lines for you. No sense dealing with points or reefs at this stage, but perhaps soon. That break should be repetitive and predictably consistent enough with this period and wind we have tonight. Just got back in from my sesh. Hope you get stoked bro.
Bro. Laugh much? It was a complete joke and satire on the perpetual overpopulation of an underperforming break. There must've been 128+ peeps there yesterday and today each. Wasn't near there so others can verify that. Also, was throwing a jab at the forumites that do blow up spots blatantly here at times. Anywayz brooo I'll see you at *h* *a** at high tide tomorrow.
Oh man had a great session at Winthrop. There was a flat spell right when I arrived so I thought I was skunked, but I suited up anyways figuring I'd at least get wet and swim around a little, then ended up catching a ton of decent rides on the occasional (super weak) waist-high set that came through... I even caught a wave "drop back" style (a new style I am inventing where you bodyboard waves on your back instead of your belly).
Well, inventing may be a strong word for it since I'm pretty sure the Hawaiians have already done everything possible while riding a wave (including like, BBQing a steak and making love)
I suggest Q-tips with hydrogen peroxide on them, a lengthy shower with scalding hot water. Be sure to clean between the toes and every other nook and cranny.
Every now and then the CHesapeake Bay will go off. courtesy of all those northern factories as well as those further up the river in VA, a lot of nastiness will get in there. A lot of guys have gotten sick surfing the bay. Clean the wetsuit with the wetsuit shampoo while you are at it.
How would you like to get MRSA? Don't F with it dude.
Do they have showers there? If not, bring some hot, soapy water with you for a pre-cleaning.
Earplugs are a good idea too...
I love to surf and I hate infections. Hope this helps.
