We too see the osprey. Several manmade nesting areas are established along our ride out to the Isle of Chiba. Every springtime nesting pairs raise their young. It is cool to watch the progression of the hatchlings. We call it "Flight School". We can ride our bikes and bring the binoc's. We get to see them go from young groms to mighty surfers of the sky! I love spring.

Be careful walking near their nests. They can shoot a quite stream of white liquid birdsh*t a considerable ways. I've personally witnessed such an event. Had I started my walk from the office to the Subway for lunch a minute earlier I would've been nailed. Certainly don't park under/near a nest.
Then there's all the yellow pollen all over everything this time of year. Some cars start to look like they been finger painted with mustard. Sometime in April begins the daily Claritin (or the cheaper store brand) pill until early June.
